I have spent the last 6 years of my writing journey building other writers up through social media, groups, and, recently, the magazine and Patreon. It is not something I expected to be reimbursed for; I wanted the community that was built. We all became better. Writing in isolation does not create good books, and it is not good for the soul.
Throughout 2025, I have received requests for coaching, courses, and groups. It took me a while to figure out how to serve everyone and do it well.

One-on-One

By the page:
Do you love to write, but you just need someone to hold you accountable? Are you pretty good, but you just want a second set of eyes? One-on-One isn't for everyone, but it is perfect for those who need their feet held to the fire. This option was developed, not by me, but by the people requesting the service—as it should be.
As your private coach—together you and I will determine how many pages you want to produce per month and when they will be due in my inbox. To keep you motivated, clients pay per page for 1 month at a time, billed at the beginning of each month. We will meet once a month for a video call to check in and see if we need to make any adjustments for the month ahead.
My fee is $5/page. A page is considered to be 250 words or fewer. If you have a lot of whitespace due to dialogue, the fee is still per page, not per word. I will comment and do a light edit. This is not a copy edit; it is a coaching session and developmental edit as I help you get your manuscript to the next level. This is half the cost per word that most good editors charge, and you get coaching in addition.
I will also be available via email all month long.

Do you have a decent handle on writing but need a mentor? Do you lack support at home? Do you need help with motivation, strategy or just knowing what to do next?
As a private coach—by the hour—we will set up sessions convenient for you. Video chats once a quarter, month, week, bi-weekly/... Suited to your needs and a pre-determined availability over chat included. Through this I will be available to fill in whatever gaps you need. I will be your coach, cheerleader, strategy support, etc. You are the driver's seat. The initial planning session is free. There we determine what your needs are and how to fill them and outline the costs ahead of time. No surprises!
